In 2010, G Shafer Architecture worked on the design and renovation of the University of Houston's Cullen Performance Hall. The project included the expansion and modernization of the hall's seating, lighting, and acoustics to create a versatile and technologically advanced performance space for the university's music department. The project team incorporated sustainable design elements, such as the use of natural lighting and ventilation, and recycled building materials. The renovation transformed the hall into a world-class venue for concerts, theatre, and other performances.
